Now, you can discover how to consistently make a decent income with your writing skills…
Are you a good writer?
I mean, do you have very good writing skills?
Would you like to make a decent monthly income by writing things that people will pay you well for?
And you have absolutely no idea how to make it happen, or even what you should do first?
If you just answered those questions in the affirmative, then you’ve come to right place. Just read on!
Whether you want to turn writing into a full-time business that will fetch you everything you need to live a comfortable life, or you want to write as a part-time venture just to earn some cash by the side, I can help.
How I became a successful freelance writer
In August 2011, a good friend of mine introduced freelance writing to me after he noticed my good writing skills.
Before then I’ve tried my luck at various online businesses — “get-paid-to” schemes, HYIPs, bulk SMS retail, and others — but never made headway with any.
However, I was able to get into the writing business pretty quickly, and I seemed to love it. (Why not? Of course, I was being paid to do something I enjoy doing.)
Since I started out to date, I’ve worked with over 40 different clients from all over the world, and I’ve written over 1,500 various pieces of content (blog posts, articles, e-books, sales pages, business plans, business proposals, email newsletters, and so on).
And more importantly, I’ve made a lot of money from the business.
To be frank, I wasn’t earning much when I just started, and I got only few jobs in a month.
But now, my monthly income from writing alone surpasses the monthly salary of several thousands of 8-5 workers in Nigeria and is more than enough to pay my bills and cater for my family (I’m happily married, with a son).
And it might even surprise you that I don’t work for more than 4 hours per day — on the average.
Though I’m not anywhere close to the point I hope to reach as a freelance writer, I’m always glad each time I recall all I’ve accomplished so far — in terms of financial goals and otherwise.
If I have any regrets at all, it has to be that I didn’t start earlier.
Now, let me help you with my experience
Since I started out in August 2011 to date, I’ve gone through a lot. My journey to this point of my career as a writer has been rough. I made mistakes. I faced challenges. And I wasted resources. But I’ve learnt a lot, too.
You know why my journey was rough? Because I really didn’t have the same opportunity you’re about to get right now.
I didn’t have access to an in-depth guide through the business of freelance writing — that is tailored specifically to Nigerians. I learned most of what I now know the hard way — through failures and trail-and-error.
But no, you don’t have to ply the same rough route to succeed as a freelance writer. And achieving success in the freelance writing business doesn’t have to take you so long (though it won’t come within a few weeks).
And that’s why I’ve packaged everything you need to know — to start a freelance writing business and succeed at it — inside an e-book titled, “How to Make Money as a Freelance Writer in Nigeria”.
If you really want to achieve your dreams of making money online by handling writing assignments for clients from Nigeria and other parts of the world, this e-book will teach you everything you need to know.
Now, this is not one of those shitty e-books that will leave you more confused than enlightened. It’s a product of my years of experience as a freelance writer, and you can’t get most of its content anywhere else. (Yes, I mean it!)
And more importantly, the e-book is catered to Nigerian readers — it explains how a Nigerian writer can make money by handling writing assignments for other people.
Here are the things you’ll learn from the 110-page e-book:
- Basic things you must know before starting your freelance writing business
- How to improve your writing skills
- How to write interesting content for a web audience
- How to set up your writer’s portfolio
- 13 ways to attract freelance writing clients (foreign and Nigerian)
- How to pitch freelance writing clients
- How to make your clients happy, so they can keep hiring repeatedly
- 20 costly mistakes you must avoid as a freelance writer
- The worst challenges you will face as a freelance writer (and how to overcome them)
- And lots more — with stories from my experience and practical examples to guide you.
Now, this e-book isn’t for everyone
If you think this e-book will teach you spelling, punctuation, and grammar, then you’d be disappointed. It’s only for those who already have a decent grasp of the English language.
I’m not saying you have to be a world-class writer. No. You just need to have writing skills that are above average. In as much as you can express yourself clearly without committing unpardonable grammar and spelling mistakes, you’re good to go.
If what you’re looking for is a way to start earning hundreds of thousands of Naira within a few days, this e-book isn’t for you either. In fact, you might even have to invest in one or two things you need to get started, if you already don’t have them. Your success in this business will require LOTS of hard work, and it won’t come overnight.
If you’re only good at writing stories, then you can just find another opportunity to make money. This e-book won’t help you. It’s for versatile, creative writers who can write articles, blogs posts, e-books, business plans and so on — on a wide range of non-fiction topics.

I am a freelance writer myself and was already writing for clients when I read Mr. Toriola’s e-book…Despite the fact that I have a gift for writing and have been crafting awesome content since grade school, I still learnt a lot from this e-book. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t put down this e-book till I landed on the very last page!
If you want to make money online in Nigeria as a writer, this is one book you absolutely need!
— Mr. Akaahan Terungwa, Seasoned freelance writer and mini importation expert.
Abass Toriola’s e-book is an oasis in the desert. It is refreshing that in a country where selling crappy books is becoming the norm, he’s sharing this valuable and actionable guide; that at a time when the society ignorantly deems writing a mere hobby, he’s providing a roadmap for making writing a profession.
He’s not teaching some vain theories that only work well in books. He’s been there, and he’s sharing exactly what works and what sucks.
If you want to make money from freelance writing and you only have time to listen to one person, Abass is your man.
— Mr. Muhammed Abdullahi Tosin, Expert writer and seasoned internet marketer.

PS.You will definitely find free e-books and articles online that discuss how to make money as a freelance writer. But most of them won’t really help you because they contain things you can hardly implement as a Nigerian. However, this e-book has been written for NIGERIANS by a Nigerian author who has seen it all when it comes to making money as a freelance writer.
